All players must wear indoor shoes (flats), turfs or sneakers. No molded cleats allowed at any time.

Soccer Time Rules

All FIFA rules apply.

The following exceptions apply:

  • Law 3: The minimum number of players for the start of the game is 4 players, one of which is a keeper in U14 to Adults leagues. Substitutions are on the fly. Plyer must be off the field before the substitute can enter, infringement results in a blue card offense. Game clock will start at scheduled time—No Exceptions!!! Games are on a running clock. Stoppage for serious injury will be at the discretion of the referee only.
  • Law 4: No dangerous equipment will be allowed, this includes jewelry and other accessories. Shinguards are mandatory for all players at all times and must be completely covered with socks—NO exceptions. Indoor shoes, turfs or sneakers—no molded cleats. Or any equipment which is dangerous in the referee's opinion. A player will not be allowed to play until it is corrected. There is absolutely no gum allowed on the field.
  • Law 6: Scorekeepers will keep track of score and time. They will also administer time penalties and track team fouls. All teams are to provide a list of players and their jersey number prior to the start of the game to the scorekeeper.
  • Law 7: All games will consist of 2-22 minute halves, the half time interval will be 2 minutes. Game clock will start at scheduled time—No Exceptions!!! Games are on a running clock. Stoppage for serious injury or discretion of the referee only.
  • Law 8: On Kick-off, ball may be played in any direction; all players must be on their own side of the field at the start of each kickoff a minimum of 10 feet from the center mark.
  • Law 9: Ball in and out of play: The ball is out of play when it touches the netting above the perimeter wall. When the ball hits the netting over the end perimeter wall between the corner marks having last been played by the attacking team, play shall be restarted with a goalkeeper throw in, from any point within the penalty box. When the ball hits the netting over the end perimeter wall between the corner marks having last been played by a player on the defending team, play shall be restarted with a corner kick. The ball will be placed on the corner spot nearest the point where the ball made contact with the netting. A goal may not be scored directly from such a kick. All restarts by direct kick from where the ball went out. If the above the goal area; ball is brought out to the line parallel to the goal.
  • Law 11: Three Line Violation: Defined: A three-line violation is defined as the ball having crossed, in the air, over the white lines without touching a wall, the ground or a player between the two white lines. Restart Direct Free Kick, line closest to the offending team's goal.
  • Law 12: Players who commit any of the following offenses shall be issued a blue card that will result in the player serving a two-minute penalty. Once the blue card has been issued the penalty time will not begin until the player has left the field. Calls are at the referee's discretion. If a goalie receives a blue card, another player may serve the penalty. Boarding: Will be a blue card, if done in a violent manner will be a red card. Sliding: There is no slide tackling. Sliding that is not a tackle toward an opponent is a foul. This also applies to a goalkeeper who begins their slide outside the box. A reach for the ball by going to one knee could be considered a slide. If a player slide tackles time penalties may be assessed against players regardless of whether or not play is in progress. Time penalties that do not expire by the end of the first half and are continued into the second half. A 2nd Blue issued to the same player in a game becomes a Yellow.
  • Law 13: On free kicks non kicking team must be 10 feet in distance in all directions from the ball.
  • Law 14: When a Penalty kick is awarded all players must be behind the white full length line closes to the goal.
  • Law 15: There are no throw-ins, there will only be kick-ins.
  • Law 18: Every team is to show Sportsmanship at all times, to their team, opposing team, referees and staff.
